Cats will become quiet after being pinched on the nape of their necks, and poop scoopers need to master the core weaknesses of loving cats

As long as you keep a cat, you should know that no matter how mischievous your cat is, as long as you pull the back of its neck, it will immediately become well behaved. Over time, your friends also gave it a fitting name – the back neck skin of fate! Many people are curious, is it really not painful to hold onto it like this? And why is he so obedient when he pulls the back of his neck?

Many scientists have conducted related experiments, putting more than 30 cats of different ages, genders, and breeds together and using clips to clamp the skin behind their necks. This experiment may sound cruel, but the cats’ reactions surprised everyone!

Every cat caught in the neck obediently placed its tail between its legs and remained motionless. As long as the clip is released, the cat will immediately return to its usual state, standing up from its original position and moving around. This phenomenon is called clip hypnosis.

After a period of investigation, researchers concluded that this is a behavioral inhibition phenomenon induced by pinching in cats.

The reason for this appearance is mainly related to the behavior of the cat mother. When the cat is young, the cat mother will move the kitten by holding its back neck. When cats are choked, they may think that their mother is holding them and they need to retract their hands and feet, as well as their tails, to prevent inconvenience when their mother walks.

And the physiological structure of most mammals, only the neck is the most suitable place to hold, so over time these small animals have developed a magical reflex. As long as someone grabs their back neck, it will make them feel quiet and obedient.

Secondly, in many scientific studies, it has also been found that this is not actually the pinching induced behavioral inhibition phenomenon inherited in genetic inheritance.

This behavior is actually related to the experiences of these animals during their childhood. Two groups of mice, each consisting of 15 mice, were selected for comparison. One group of mice often held the skin around their necks during their childhood, while the other group was raised normally. As a result, when the mice grew up, the group that was frequently held around their necks during their childhood showed pinching induced behavioral inhibition, while the normally raised mice did not exhibit this phenomenon.

So, the main reason why cats become more obedient after being held in their mouths is actually because their mothers often went to pick up kittens when they were young, and other feline animals are the same!

After understanding this, many poop scoopers said that I can often hug or walk around with cats in this way!

In fact, this approach can cause significant harm to cats!

On the one hand, there is a significant difference in weight between cats from infancy to adulthood.

On the other hand, as cats grow up, their weight increases, and the pressure on their fur also increases. If not handled properly, the cat’s neck fascia and muscles can easily be pulled!

Although cats may still exhibit pinching induced behavioral inhibition, this does not mean that this way of holding cats is correct and reasonable!
