The town of Cesky Krumlov was built between the 14 th and 17 th centuries. Because it retained almost all the buildings in the Middle Ages, it became the representative of the ancient medieval cities in modern Europe. In 1992, it was listed as one of the double natural and cultural heritages of the world by UNESCO.

Because the town of Krumlov is called Cesky Krumlov, it is affectionately called CK town. It is the most popular and famous place in the Czech Republic besides Prague. There are many tourists, and almost all tourists in the Czech Republic will go to CK town to see how beautiful the fairy tale world is.

The whole town, but everyone who has been there is amazed at its fairy-tale beauty. Because the buildings in the town are all Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque, when you are in it, you feel separated from modernity, as if you have returned to the past of Europe and felt the life and stories at that time. Plus, the town is surrounded by the Vltava River, just like a horseshoe shape, which adds a lot of flavor to the town.

Krumlov Town is 160 kilometers away from Prague, and it can be reached by car on the same day. The journey is only about three hours. There is a bus to CK Town from Prague Bus Station, or you can go to CK Railway Station from Prague Main Railway Station, or you can choose to drive by yourself, which is of course the most convenient and fastest. It should be noted here that if you take a bus, you need to buy tickets in advance, because there are many tourists in CK town. If you don’t buy tickets in advance, it will take a lot of time, and you can hardly buy them on the spot.
According to your own time choice, if you can, you can stay in CK Town for one night and watch the sunrise and sunset. If time is urgent, CK Town is really not big. If you are fast, you can visit it in half a day. Except for being tired on the road, there is almost no problem with the time arrangement.

Surrounded by such a castle style, there is really only one thing to do, and that is-take pictures. Like Prague, it also has sub-districts, but because of its small area, there are only two sub-districts, one is the old town of Krumlov and the other is the castle district of Krumlov. The old town is the center of the past era, and any scenic spot in the town can be reached by foot.

There are more than 300 historic buildings in this medieval town, each with its own characteristics. Choose any building as the background, and you can take the feeling of a postcard, especially when the sun shines down, the golden light is really beautiful.

When you go to CK town, a must-go photo spot is Krumlov Castle, and you need to buy a ticket to enter. This is a castle with history and many stories. It has changed many owners in the long river of time, experienced the baptism of time, and even experienced wars. There are also scenes of people’s lives at that time. Walking in it is a journey back to the past.

The highest point of the town is the old castle tower. At the top of the castle, you can overlook the whole town. From the garden observation deck of the castle, you can also see the Vltava River. Many people take photos here, and many photos of online celebrity circulating on the Internet were taken here, so don’t miss this classic photo spot when you get to the town.

Most people will take panoramic views at the top of the castle, but if there are many people, don’t be discouraged. You can also take pictures at the observation deck next to the Regional Museum, which is also an excellent shooting place.

After taking the panoramic view, I went to the market in the town. The streets are paved with natural stones, and the storefronts on both sides are not too big. The euro can be used universally, and the style is very classical, with the style of ancient Europe. A lot of the cafes are also great for photos. It is said that the town will also hold music festivals. Looking at street performers everywhere on the street, you can imagine the local people’s love for music and art.

It would be great if you decided to stay in the town for one night. After all, it is a tourist resort, so there are many homestays to choose from in the town. If you are lucky and choose a room where you can watch the castle location and watch the sunrise and sunset, it will be really wonderful.

If you can wait until sunset, the warm golden sunshine shines down, which is also an excellent moment to take pictures. The whole town is surrounded by golden light, and the sunshine shines down through layers of clouds magnificently, covering fairy-tale red roofs. That picture will be unforgettable for life. It is warm tenderness, and it is also a touch to the soul.

I’m afraid this kind of sunshine often happened in the Middle Ages, as if it was a cross-century meeting, the intersection at that time, different times, the same landscape, what kind of mood and feeling it was.
Many times I think about the purpose of traveling. When this ray of sunshine shines down and the whole town is covered, I also feel the purpose of traveling. Perhaps, in some places, it is just for such a cross-century encounter. The scenery you have seen, the footprints and scenery you have photographed are a witness and an encounter in places full of old customs.
The autumn sunshine may be the most comfortable. In such a wonderfully beautiful medieval castle town, I don’t know how beautiful it is when snow covers it in winter. What kind of encounter was it when you walked through the castle, stepped on the stones under your feet for centuries, and thought about life in ancient Europe?
No scenic spots are the most beautiful scenery. Here, there is nothing to see, and the whole town is a landscape. Green hills and red houses, small bridges and flowing water, the wind is in the sky, the scenery is in the water, and the scenery is between heaven and earth. You can only hold up your camera, take pictures of the traces you have walked and the scenery you have seen, and witness an encounter that spans the century.
