Bolivia is a landlocked country located in the middle of South America, bordering Brazil in the northeast, Paraguay in the southeast, Argentina in the south, Chile in the southwest and Peru in the west. The terrain of the whole territory is high in the west and low in the east. The side close to Peru has a plateau climate, which is relatively arid. The southern half of Argentina has a savanna climate, and the part bordering Brazil has a tropical rain forest climate, which is higher than that in the south. Because of this obvious climate difference between the east and the west, you still need to do a good job of sun protection when you go to Bolivia, and keep warm when you go to the west.
Many people know Bolivia because of its famous “Mirror of the Sky”. Every year, people from all over the world go to Bolivia to see its elegant demeanor. Naturally, going to the Mirror of the Sky to see the beautiful scenery and taking creative photos has become the first must-do thing.
Creative photos taken by sky mirror
Bolivia’s Sky Mirror is located in Uyuni Salt Lake. What is its beauty? But you can tell by looking at the name-a mirror of the sky, and then looking at the photo. Under this beautiful scenery, the sky and the earth have completely blended, and the earth reflects the beauty of the sky. Walking on the ground, it seems like walking in the sky, shining brightly.

So how did this “mirror of the sky” come into being? This is mainly the role of Uyuni Salt Lake.
Uyuni Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in the world on the plateau with an altitude of about 3,700 meters. Every rainy season, this salt lake will be filled with rain, and then form a shallow lake. Besides, it is very flat and vast, and it is like a mirror after being filled with shallow water. At this time, its reflection of sunlight makes the sky perfectly integrate with itself, and it also makes people feel in a wonderful space.

The most wonderful thing is that because it reflects the sky, and the sky changes anytime and anywhere, every photo flowing out of here is different. Whenever the glow, clouds and colors change, the mirror of the sky changes accordingly.

With this natural and most beautiful mirror, take the angle method, quickly take a group of creative photos, have a crazy fun, and keep them as memories.
Here, there are sunrises and sunsets every day, and many places in the world call themselves the most beautiful sunrises in the world. However, this “mirror of the sky”, instead of relying on mountains, rivers and seas, relies on a salt layer to cover the rainwater accumulated in the wasteland, illusioning the beauty of the blurred boundary between heaven and earth.

To be honest, I didn’t feel shocked at first because there was too little water, but in the end, everything in the world was dyed with color, and I was amazed.

Therefore, whether something is beautiful or not depends on whether you can meet it at its most beautiful moment. It is also for this reason that going to the mirror of the sky depends on fate. At 2:30 in the morning, we continued to set off, chasing the sun, moon and stars in the mirror at night, and watching the sunrise in the mirror of the sky.
Red Sea Chasing Flame Bird
In addition to Uyuni Salt Lake, the mirror of the sky, Bolivia also has the beautiful Red Lake, which is the most beautiful lake in Bolivia.

Red Lake is a plateau salt lake in Bolivia, located in the southwest, also known as Colorada Lake. It is red because of the growth of red algae, and the hot springs at the bottom of the lake bring abundant nutrients to red algae. The two not only coexist harmoniously, but also have a unique red and white color from a distance, making it a unique two-color lake.

When you come to Red Lake, besides seeing this beautiful red and white lake view, the most important thing is to chase the footsteps of flamingos. Because the unique red algae of Red Lake is the favorite food of flamingos, it has become a place where flamingos reproduce and breed. If you want to see flamingos here, you should have a good chance. When the time is right, you can see thousands of flamingos of different species.

Flamingo is known as the lady of birds, and you have to come all the way to see it, not only because of its beauty, but also because it is a bird that differentiated 30 million years ago and is a rare animal in the world. Looking at it is like looking at a long and ancient history.

I finally saw it this time. This flamingo, I wanted to chase it in Africa, but I didn’t see it. I went to Mexico to chase it, but I didn’t see it. This time, I finally saw it in the plateau lake in Bolivia. The lake and mountains, the blue sky and white clouds, and the touch of red looked particularly handsome. Standing at that moment, I sincerely thanked nature for giving such colors.
Look at the geothermal gap spring
The Gap Spring in Bolivia is said to be the highest gap spring in the world at 5,000 meters.

To be honest, I didn’t know what Gap Spring was before I got here, but I understood it after I read it here. As the name implies, gap spring is a geothermal hot spring that sprays intervals from time to time. Some people compare it to an “underground natural boiler”, which mostly occurs in areas with active volcanic movement and requires suitable geological structure and sufficient underground water sources to achieve it.

Specifically, mainly in areas with volcanic activity, lava turns formation water into water vapor, and the water vapor rises along the cracks. When the temperature drops below the vaporization point, it condenses into high-temperature water, which erupts at intervals to form geysers.

When its movement is the most intense, it can erupt to the highest point. I waited for a long time but didn’t see its most amazing eruption. It’s really a pity.
